Your room rate is $99 plus tax. YOU HAVE ONLY UNTIL FEBRUARY 26,
2010 TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS. If you don't you will not get the $99
room rate.
Friday March 12th
• 6:00-7:00 p.m. Welcome Reception
• 7:00-9:00 p.m.-Texas Central LULAC Education Banquet
Saturday March 13th
• 7:30- breakfast
• 8:00- meeting called to order/roll call to establish quorum
• 8:10- pledge of allegiance/ LULAC prayer/ adopt the day’s agenda
• 8:15- Welcome by local host councils and District Director Rosa
Hernandez
• 8:30- approve the minutes of the December 5th, San Antonio board
meeting
• 8:45- Treasurer’s report (audit of accounts for action)
• 9:00- Convention report & Appointments/ State Training Institute
report
• 10:15- Adjourn Texas LULAC and convene LULAC HOPE meeting
• 10:45- District Director’s reports with action items
• 12:00-1:00 Luncheon with city and district dignitaries
• 1:05- 1:50 Committee Reports (education, civil rights, veterans,
finance, immigration, corporate alliance, LNESC)
• 1:55-2:30 State Officer’s Reports
• 2:35-3:00- Old Business
Adopt organizational procedures (i.e. state by-laws, finance, grievance)
Final vote by board on any proposed changes!
• 3:00- New Business
• 5:00- Good and Welfare of the League/ Adjournment
• 5:05- LEFT board meets for action
• Local hospitality
